mastication – chewing, generally of food
maxilla – upper jaw
maxillary sinus – open cavity inside the maxilla
molar – rearmost teeth, cusped, used for grinding food
mouthguard – appliance used to protect the mouth and teeth during rigorous activity, such as sports
